Innatium

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

In plain English: We collect your email and username to run the waitlist and referral program, and to notify you at launch. We never sell your data. Marketing emails are separate opt-in only.

1. What We Collect

Account data: email address, chosen username, hashed password (we never see or store your plain password — authentication is handled by Supabase). Referral data: your referral code, who referred you, your referral count. Technical data: IP address and basic device/browser information collected automatically by our hosting and authentication providers for security and functionality. Optional: your marketing preference.

2. Why We Collect It (Privacy Act 1988, APP 5 Collection Notice)

We collect this information to: create and manage your waitlist membership; operate the referral program and calculate tiers and iCredits; display your position and username; notify you when Innatium launches; prevent fraud and duplicate accounts; and, only if you opt in, send marketing communications. If you do not provide an email and username we cannot provide waitlist membership.

3. How We Store and Secure It

Your data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) on infrastructure located in Sydney, Australia, and processed by Vercel (site hosting). Access is restricted by role-based security. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard methods. We retain waitlist data until launch completes its migration to platform accounts, or until you request deletion.

4. Third-Party Disclosure

We share data only with our service providers as necessary to operate the site: Supabase (database/auth), Vercel (hosting), and our email delivery provider (launch and transactional emails). We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by Australian law.

5. Marketing Communications (Spam Act 2003)

Launch notifications and account-related emails are sent to all members as an essential part of the service you signed up for. Promotional marketing is sent only if you ticked the separate marketing opt-in, and every marketing email contains a working unsubscribe link. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time without affecting your membership.

6. Access, Correction & Deletion

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccurate information, or request deletion of your account and data by contacting [contact email to be inserted]. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account forfeits your waitlist position, referrals and iCredits.

7. Automated Decision-Making Disclosure

Our systems automatically calculate referral counts, tier levels and iCredit balances from referral events. At platform launch, some competitions will use automated (including AI-based) scoring systems that use limited personal information (your entries and account identity) to determine competition results; these operate under human oversight with a designated responsible officer able to review outcomes. This disclosure is made in line with the Privacy Act automated decision-making transparency reforms commencing 10 December 2026.

8. Complaints & Contact

Privacy questions or complaints: [contact email to be inserted]. If you are unsatisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
